Six whole years of blogging

(well, minus the dark year…)

Today is my sixth anniversary with my blog and honestly, this is the longest, most committed relationship I’ve ever been in! While my blog hasn’t grown much over these years, I am so proud of everything it holds and stands for in my life. I’ve been able to share my experiences with friends and family, write through thoughts I never could fully understand, share insights that have made my life easier or more exciting, and most importantly, work to connect with people all across the world.

I’ve hit milestones I never expected with this blog – with readership growing, strangers liking each post, and gaining followers (slowly but surely)!

I’ve struggled with this blog – not knowing what to write that week, forgetting to post when I planned to, feeling unsure with why I’m doing this and making it such a personal goal.

I’ve literally grown up on this blog and have seen the patience in my readers. I’ve traveled to Europe – more than once – and have shared those experiences on my blog. I’ve welcomed in guest writers to bring a more well-rounded collection of posts to share with my readers (because I can guarantee y’all get sick of what I have to say). You’ve all allowed me to change, grow, and try new things on this blog and I am forever grateful.

So if you’ve been here for these six years, thanks for sticking with me. If you’re new to my blog, welcome and I hope you like it enough to stick around. I love writing and sharing my thoughts.

As always, thanks for reading!

P.S. What can we accomplish in the next six years?
