Things I’m thankful for

It’s the week of Thanksgiving here in the United States and this is easily one of my favorite holidays. The history of this holiday is horrific, but I love that this holiday has transformed into something where families and friends gather to stuff their faces with delicious food, serve others, and express their gratitude for what makes up their lives. So obviously, this week I wanted to share with my dedicated readers, what I’m thankful for…

  • dogs
  • the ability to lose myself in a book
  • uncrowded roads
  • being able to call my friends from states away
  • music
  • being able to workout and afford a gym membership
  • my job at the American Cancer Society
  • my co-workers (and friends) who bring joy to each and every day
  • pizza (seriously, I’ve eaten an unusual amount of pizza this week)
  • 207
  • bullet journaling
  • learning how to say no
  • being both an introvert and an extrovert
  • dogs, especially Mungo (oh, I already said dogs?)
  • the sense of home my family always brings me
  • holiday traditions with dad
  • typical shopping trips with mom
  • goofy texts with Molly
  • feeling independent
  • mittens
  • salt lamps
  • belly laughs
  • traveling as much as possible
  • all of my Eau Claire people
  • my roommate
  • having a clear head
  • my lil group in Texas
  • Target
  • crockpots
  • Chex mix szn
  • throw blankets and pillows
  • you — the person reading my blog, I don’t know why you do, but I am so thankful for you.

What are you thankful for? What makes your heart smile on the daily? There are so many other things I could put here, seriously, so many other things. But we all know you can’t spend 24+ hours reading a blog post…

Enjoy the holidays, everyone. Happy Thanksgiving from Minnesota!

P.S. Okay, one more…
