End of summer

Well, for me it’s the last week of summer, probably for most people, though, you’ve already begun school. My first day is actually Wednesday, September 2nd… So I still have about a week and a half left, but honestly, all my summer activities have come to a close and I’m officially back at my parents house, in an awkward transition between living in a house to living in an apartment style residence hall…but for now, I’m homeless (which is why I’m at my parents house).

This summer has been one for the books. Can I say it was my absolute favorite summer? No…last summer is hard to beat, but it is definitely one I’ll never forget. I had multiple jobs that kept me busy, great friends/roommates to hang out with constantly, and made a ton of memories that will stay with me forever. I can’t believe how much I laughed, cried, and reflected on my life this summer. I learned a lot about who I am as a person and who my friends are as well. I did almost everything on my bucket list for the summer, which I’m proud of given the amount of time I actually had to complete everything. The only downside to my summer was spontaneity was at an all time low…but on the plus side, everything that was planned was a really great time. So no harm, no foul.

To give a little insight to what my last summer was like, I worked on a video throughout giving little snippets of everything I did with my friends.

Aren’t my friends adorable? 🙂

I hope your summer has been as great as mine. Next week I’m going to begin my blogging on Cutting the Cord: Casie’s last semester in college.
