Planning my next adventure.

Lately, I’ve been craving adventure. Whether it be going down the street and sledding, going to a new thrift store a few towns over, or going to a different state/country to explore around there. No matter what it is, where it is, or how expensive it is, I’m craving it (like a good piece of chocolate cake). If you look on my pinterest adventure board, you can see how badly I’m craving it (I just started the board about 3 weeks ago)

So, what better to do then to fill my craving, for now at least. Spring break is coming up and my trusty travel buddy, Amy and I are planning a trip to Chicago (well she’s mainly planning right now and I’m just shooting out ideas).

I know Chicago isn’t going abroad or anything, but it’s traveling nonetheless and it’s some place I’ve never gotten to fully experience. I went when I was younger, aka during my american girl doll age, and honestly, I didn’t appreciate it for all it’s worth. I’ve never been a city girl, but I desperately want to see them… So the windy city is our first trip.

I made a vow to myself that I couldn’t go abroad again (unless the opportunity was too great to pass up) until I saw more of the country I live it. I want to know as much as I can about my country before learning about all these other countries.. (also I really need to learn my geography before planning another trip abroad…I didn’t even know where New Zealand was..)

So Chicago, get ready for us, we’re coming.
