As I’m sitting here on my second to last night home, staring at the mound of clothes and other items I have yet to pack, I can’t help but think of how excited I am to get to England. I’ve gone through a lot of anxiety today just thinking of everything I still need to get done, however, I remember that I still have another full day and I basically have everything I need. And whenever I start to feel an overwhelming amount of anxiety about leaving, I have the luxury of texting my best friend and seeing if she’s feeling the same way I am. We have each other to ask what we’re bringing, what to plan for, what class load we should expect, etc. I honestly don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have her going with me on this huge trip. ( You can look forward to more BEAUTIFUL photos like this one of us )
Like I said, if Amy wasn’t going on this trip with me, I probably wouldn’t even be going. I know a lot of people go off on study abroad’s and know no one and they end up making a lot of friends, but I feel VERY lucky to already have at least one friend on this trip. ( Even though, a lot of the other’s on this trip are already some of my friends via other social medias and meetings at school )
Anyways, my packing list is coming to an end. I have my shorts, dresses, shoes, towels, scarves, adapters, etc. Tomorrow I’ll be running some of my final errands, doing one last load of laundry, and spending some quality time with my adorable dogs. Next time I’m on here, I’ll be in England!
